VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON THERAPY

Holistic, trauma-informed therapy in New York City

My approach combines evidence-based therapy, somatic practices, and attachment theory to help clients identify and heal the root of their issues. Together, we’ll work to create lasting change by building insight, regulating your nervous system, and strengthening your relationships with yourself and others.

PRONOUNS: SHE/HER

As a trauma-informed, strengths-based therapist, I don’t believe in pathologizing or labeling clients. You aren’t broken or bad; rather, you may have learned to protect and care for yourself in ways that no longer serve you. Therapy can help shed light on these patterns, and with awareness comes choice – once we’re able to identify and understand our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, we can begin to transform them for the better. Together, you and I can uncover what lies at the root of your issues and explore new strategies for creating positive change.

I take an integrative, holistic approach to therapy, incorporating modalities such as EMDR, IFS, somatic therapies, and DBT, as well as elements of mindfulness, self-compassion, and attachment theory. Ultimately, however, I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, and we can work together to see how our sessions can best meet your unique needs.

Facing the past, unearthing negative beliefs, and embracing new mindsets can be a scary and overwhelming process, but you don’t have to go through it alone. My goal is to create a warm, compassionate space where you feel safe to practice self-exploration and embrace change.
